Billing & Invoices

Here’s how your shop’s charges are billed, where to review your invoices, and how to check your overall billing performance.

How the shop billing cycle works

Your shop’s rental charges run on a billing/deduction cycle configured by RNTLS Administration. A few things shape how and when you’re charged:

  • Payment calculations use the configured billing cycle along with commission, security hold, RAP fees, and late-penalty rules.
  • If a rental spans multiple billing periods, each period creates its own scheduled transaction and invoice record — so a longer rental may generate more than one invoice over its lifetime.
  • If a rental ends early (through an early return or an incident-related return), your shop’s billing is recalculated for the days actually consumed, and any unused prepaid amount — including RAP — is refunded or credited accordingly.
  • If the commission rate changes, it only applies to new rental requests going forward, not to rentals already in progress.

Viewing your invoice list

From the portal, you can view a list of invoices filtered to your shop and the records you’re permitted to see. This gives you a running view of everything that’s been billed across your rentals.

Downloading invoice PDFs

Open any invoice to see its full details — invoice identity, status, and date; the bill-to party; the related rental and vehicle; charge lines and adjustments; totals; and the related payment or payout reference. From there, you can download a PDF copy of the invoice for your own records.
